Charlotte ReadEvent Organiser
Charlotte joined Villa Maria in September 2005 as their European Market Manager covering all markets from Ireland to Dubai. With 8 years of international marketing experience, Charlotte’s responsibilities have ranged from launching new brands of NZ milk products in Thailand to launching wine store formats in the UK. Charlotte was brought up on a vineyard in Hawkes Bay, NZ. She moved to the UK in 2001 to pursue a MBA at Cambridge and more recently has completed her WSET Diploma.
Charlotte joined the WoW Committee in October 2005.

Rebecca FraserWebsite and Identity
Rebecca started her career in wines and spirits in 1998 when she spent three years working for Oddbins. She then spent five years at McKinley Vintners as a brand manager where she primarily worked with Champagne Gosset, Cognac Frapin and Morgenhof Estate. Since April 2007 Rebecca has been the Marketing Manager at Louis Latour Agencies.
Rebecca joined the WoW Committee in August 2004.

Amanda LadenEvent Organiser
Iowan-born Amanda moved over to the UK in 2001 to pursue a career in the wine industry. Her first stint was with Liberty Wines, she then moved on to work for independent retail specialist, The Winery. Her most recent role was as Business Development Manager for Premium Wines at Edward Cavendish. She has recently joined Virtual Wine, an dynamic onine wine tasting and media company, as Sales and Marketing Consultant.
Amanda joined the Wow Committee in January 2007.

Rebecca DaleyHunting and Shooting - Membership
Barlow Doherty specialises in design, marketing and advertising for the wine industry. Becs joined them in 2003, looking after accounts such as Percy Fox, Justerini & Brooks, Enotria, PLB Wines, Cockburn & Campbell, to name but a few, as well as directly with small European producers. Her interest in wine was sparked while travelling through the wine regions of Australia and she is currently studying for her WSET Diploma.
Becs joined the WoW Committee in January 2007.

Kirstie PapworthEvent Organiser
Kirstie has worked in the drinks industry since 1998, primarily working for Diageo in various project management and commercial roles. More recently Kirstie has been combining motherhood with a consulting role in the industry. Kirstie is currently studying for her WSET Diploma. Since 2007 Kirstie has worked for Bibendum.
Kirstie joined the WOW Committee in January 2007.

Maggie RosenPR Story Driver/Event Organiser/p>
A New Yorker based in London, Maggie is a freelance journalist who writes about wine, spirits, food and travel – among other things. Formerly publisher of The World of Fine Wine and now a contributor, Maggie edited Hugh Johnson’s Pocket Wine 2007 for Mitchell Beazley. She is a stringer for the Agence France Presse, La Revue Vinicole Internationale and Vins Spiritueux Boissons. She contributes frequently to Decanter.com and The Wall Street Journal Europe. She has also written for Harpers Wine & Spirit Weekly; Art+Auction, The Boston Globe, The (Scotland) Sunday Herald and The New York Times. Maggie is co-author of The Wine Box (Connections Publishing UK) and Wine: Wit and Wisdom (Think Publishing) which in 2005 was chosen by the Sunday Times (of London) as one of the "year's best books on drink".

Bronwen HarperHonorary Secretary
Bronwen began her wine career as a Sommelier in Australia. She moved to the UK in 2003, joined Oddbins and completed her WSET Diploma. In 2006, she commenced The MW Programme and established a Wine Education Company, ‘Partners in Wine’ with a friend and colleague, Julie Lawrence. Together they run consumer wine courses in South East London.
Bronwen Joined the WOW Committee in April 2007.

Clare LeechEvent Organiser
Clare joined the trade in 2001 working in international sales and marketing at Beringer Blass Wine Estates. For the past four years Clare has worked at Berkmann Wine Cellars gaining experience in On-Trade sales, Marketing and currently UK Off-Trade Sales.
